Nila Educational Trust and the project SponsorMe started in 2014 to help at-risk children get quality education. Majority of our children are from government shelters. In these years we have sponsored nearly 700 child-years of education. Recently we have started helping children from families that lost bread-winners due to covid.
We sponsor all aspects of education for a child by paying their fee in a good English medium school in the vicinity, and arranging for their transport, books, and stationery. We also arrange for after-hours tutors where necessary. Each child is associated with a mentor, to enable them in taking guidance regarding academics or any other issues they face.
Nila is registered with 12A and 80G, and listed in GiveIndia.
We do not avail any administrative charges from the donation. 100% of the donation goes to beneficiaries. All administrative expenses are borne by Trustees.
